On Friday, October 26, Colt Cabana and Adam Pearce wrestled the finale of the 7 Levels of Hate series for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Just prior to the match, however, the NWA Board of Directors would not sanction the match to be contested for the title, even though the whole purpose of the series was for the ultimate winner to have the belt. The video below shows how Colt and Adam reacted following the match.

Congrats to the "other" double-c on becoming 2or3-4 X champion! Between his work here & "rebounding" from roh in chikara(where he should've joined years ago)colt's had a very "colt-classic" year, perhaps his best ever. Reading on company's problems in current jan. pwi issue it doesn't surprise me that they didn't santion this last series' match. Between this, longstanding groups/members leaving(especially executive director bob trobich & david marquez)and the settled lawsuit, the only good news for nwa this year has been recent "history and tradition" video. Marquez:"I felt that trobich, pearce, and i kept the brand going. i'm sorry that i won't be there to nurture and protect it. i'm sure bruce(new owner r.bruce tharpe)has the same intention but i'm not sure that his idea of making nwa a national entity will work".
