This weekend in Japan, the situations with Open The Brave Gate and Open The Twin Gate were decided.
Starting with Twin Gate, the Summer Adventure Tag League wrapped on September 28 with the Millenials of Eita and T-Hawk defeating MAD BLANKEY of YAMATO and BxB Hulk in the finals to become the interim Twin Gate Champions. They were have a unification match against previous champions Dragon Kid and K-ness. of We Are Team Veteran when DK has fully recovered.
It should be noted that the Millenials won with Eita beating Dream Gate Champion YAMATO with the Numero Uno Original. YAMATO did not take kindly to this loss and has demanded a non-title singles match to prove he is still the man. This match will take play on October 26 at Sambo Hall.
Today, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! defeated Kzy in the finals of the tournament to crown the new Brave Gate Champion. This is Horiguchi's third reign and sees this as an opportunity for the Jimmys to return to form after rough losses since Kobe World. Horiguchi will be celebrating his 15th anniversary as a professional wrestler on October 3 in his hometown of Kumamoto City before the Jimmys continue their fight with the Millenials in Hakata on October 6.
October 6 will see Triangle Gate decided as the team of best friends Akira Tozawa, Shingo Takagi, and Masato Yoshino take on MAD BLANKEY of YAMATO, BxB Hulk, and Cyber Kong. The best friends will be announcing their team name sometime in early October.
