jae got wind of this and Ricochet has been helping spread the word about it.
A Japanese variety show called Knight Scoop recently (possibly this week) about a 97-year-old woman who could arguably be the oldest wrestling fan in the country. She's been a fan as far back as the Showa Era, but had surprisingly never seen a live match in person before. She lives in hospice care and cannot leave the premises for health reasons, so she passes the time by watching wrestling DVDs. Her current favorite promotion is Dragon Gate and when she is first met on the show she is enjoying the Lumberjack Whip Match between Gamma and Yosuke♡Santa Maria. The show contacted Dragon Gate and they gladly sent both wrestlers, along with CIMA and Mexican import Flamita, to give her the first live wrestling match she would ever see.
