I don't know about everyone else, but to me, Austin Aries is at the absolute top of his game right now. I'm very happy to say it too considering that it seemed like he was going to be retiring last year, ad even before then his last year in ROH was sort of hit or miss. Both as a character and a wrestler, he actually gives reason to pay a bit of attention to TNA.
Thoughts?

Aries is probably the only good thing TNA has going for it right now. With that said, he needs more (and better) competition. There's only so many times you can see him beat Alex Shelley before it gets boring.

haha, he's only beat Shelley once. They have a few guys that have been benched for a bit that they can bring back out. Really got a kick out of his promos with Kendrick.
My hopes are as soon as he loses the belt he gets shot to the main event. Aries vs Storm or Hardy or even Bully Ray would be great.

It's too bad that Angle is in as rugged shape as he is right now because him and Aries would probably be the top match I'd want out of the current roster.

His match with Shelley was the only one I enjoyed at the last PPV.

That's been essentially the case for every PPV he has been on (although December's had a couple other good matches).

Aries vs. Kash was a stiff as hell heel vs. heel match that I loved every second of.
