For the incredibly nitpicky, I can rephrase - the only shows you'd more than likely want to see in order to have a working knowledge of the current product is 9 and 10, as there are events that occur on these shows (Cheech's turn, the establishment of the Scene, Fit Finlay's attempt to inspire which is the root cause for Jon Davis to call him out, Jon Davis actually calling Finlay out, Gargano and Taylor firing Larry Dallas, Low-Ki's debut, and, of course, Sami Callihan's actions at the end of EVOLVE 10) that have a direct bearing on what's to come. Whereas all you'd likely get from watching the earlier shows (that would have any direct bearing on the current product) is that Gargano and Taylor are the ones responsible for getting Larry Dallas in the door at EVOLVE.
And, for the record, I would think, at the very least, Sami Callihan pissing on ECW's Legacy, the Legacy of the Arena, and assaulting Sabu with a broken bottle IS a major storyline you'd be dropping in the middle of if you were to start watching EVOLVE or DGUSA right now. You may not "need" to see EVOLVE 10 to understand that, but you might "want" to see EVOLVE 10 so you don't feel as out of the loop.

The incredibly nitpicky are thankful that you went into further depth. As for the Sami/Sabu angle, that's on Youtube now, so you wouldn't need to buy Evolve 10 to see what happened. Same with the Low Ki debut.

Same with the Low Ki debut. You should buy it to support the company though. I personally own every EVOLVE dvd. 1-3 are great but you can tell they were struggling when it came to a lot of things. Each show is amazing in their own right though. EVOLVE 4 is when they really started to find their footing. EVOLVE 6 and up is when they really started to kick it into high gear. Yeah, EVOLVE 9-10 have the major story line(s) going into the WM Weekend and April shows but you should watch the previous show because they're great.
