There's been rumors that once the wwe network lauches that wwe is bringing back the cruiserweight division. Now if this is true who would out of the current wwe roster would be competing in this division? An what talent could wwe scoop from the indys to build the division?
I think we could see evan bourne be a huge part of the crusierweight division if he is brought back from his suspension, hunico, sin cara, Possibly rey mysterio once he returns from his injury, I mean it seems as if rey days as a world champ are pretty much done and by his addition to the division he could help the younger talent, justin gabriel, kofi kingston, yoshi tatsu, tyson kidd and primo would be the best choices from the current roster.
Possibly indy talent the wwe might try and scoop amazing red, jack evans, jigsaw I can see since wwe likes trying to have at least 1 masked talent on each brand, matt cross who was on tough enough an formally know as m-dogg 20 on the indys, pac, brian kendrick maybe now that he was just released from tna, teddy hart, kenny omega

I don't see it ever happening. Vince just doesn't understand the allure of cruiserweights.
IF it does, and that is a huge if to me, it'll be something watered down and so horrible that it fails within a year and Vince can do an "I Told You So" to whomever suggested it.
I mean, c'mon. How many times did the Cruiserweight (or old Light Hwt.) titles get defended on big shows?
Who can forget Gillberg's impressive reign.
Just can't imagine it happening.

Hard enough for them to get the IC and US titles showcased as it is. I doubt a cruiserweight title would ever get over, even when the company completely shifts to being under Triple H.

I hope this happens loved WCW's cruisers and TNA X-Division!

I don't see the Network happening anymore... I think it's a bad idea and actually working backwards.

No what I mean is that they already have an On Demand Network which is the future of TV, so to have a "regular" network is moving backwards in the world. It would be like Hulu or NetFlix starting a channel. But since you bring up the PPV idea... was any of that even confirmed? It's been so long since I read about it I can't remember if I read that as a rumor or official statement.

I believe one of the major benefits of the network would be to openly change their PPV strategy.

I believe one of the major benefits of the network would be to openly change their PPV strategy. I can agree with that, but at the same time I feel that it's still backwards... I know I'm in the minority but I watch everything online and on demand anyway... I don't have cable. When I order their PPVs it is through their web site.
