New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the 18 participants for the 19th Annual Best of the Super Juniors Tournament. Among the participatnts include PAC and Low Ki. PAC is the only one who will be representing Dragon Gate as Low Ki is under contract with New Japan.
This will be the third time Dragon Gate will be represented in the tournament. BxB Hulk participated in 2007 and YAMATO participated in 2009.

I like that it said "NRC" beneath Davey Richards' name but was billed as "American Wolf" Davey Richards.

Awesome. I was hoping someone from Dragon Gate would be in the tournament this year, I assumed it would be PAC or Ricochet if anyone. PAC winning the tournament would be awesome, especially since he'd go on to face Devitt for the title. Imagine if he won and brought it to Dragon Gate? It's not out of the question, since Ibushi took the belt to DDT last year.

Let's not forget when Speed Muscle won the NOAH Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and later traded it with Shingo and BxB Hulk before KENTA had to march in to take the belts back.

Find it ironic koslov and romero are in so i expect them to "dance" sometime. Am happy there's a cmll luchador in there. Consider michinoku to be wildcard at best in this usually very crowded field. Wil admit to some bias on tigermask's behalf.(top highlight of him offering thumbs up to me dressed as him @ jap tripleshot) Rooting between pac & lowki to win!

2007: Milano Collection AT defeated Wataru Inoue 2008: Wataru Inoue defeated Koji Kanemoto 2009: Koji Kanemoto defeated Prince Devitt 2010: Prince Devitt defeated Kota Ibushi 2011: Kota Ibushi defeated Ryusuke Taguchi
I'm afraid that it's Taguchi's year this year, if NJPW's predictable scheduling of winners holds true. I don't know, though. Maybe PAC can get into the Finals and end up winning the title next year?

PAC was victorious in his first BotSJ match against Jushin "Thunder" Liger.
Low Ki has been victorious in his run so far, defeating Daisuke Sasaki and Ryusuke Taguchi. At present, he is tied for the Block B lead with Alex Koslov.

Both PAC and Low Ki have scored enough points to advance to the semi-finals, which will take place later tonight over in Japan.
PAC will be facing Ryusuke Taguchi and Low Ki will be facing Prince Devitt.

Neither PAC nor Low Ki were ultimately successful. Both lost to Taguchi (PAC in the semi, Low Ki in the finals). The trend continues...
