The Kamikaze/Blood Warriors match you speak of was excellent. I'm really looking forward to Mad Blankey vs Akatsuki.

Akatsuki, the new unit formed with Shingo Takagi, YAMATO, Chihiro Tominaga and Yosuke Watanabe Super Shenlong III has been revealed. I, for one, LOVE IT!!! --- Also, The Jimmyz continue to boom, expanding outward from Dragon Gate even. Twin Gate Champions Jimmy Susumu and Jimmy Kagetora just won the ZERO-1 Light Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

The logo is cool. I'm guessing their colour will be red? That's great for the Jimmyz. They should win every promotion's light heavyweight tag titles.

Edit: Read the name incorrectly. It's actually FORMER DG grad Kenshin Chikano. Chikano, who left DG to persue MMA, will be competing on an upcoming Wrestling New Classic.
The promotion is the successor to SMASH, which folded last month due to disagreements between Tajiri and financial backer Quantum Jump Japan CEO Masakazu Sakai. The name come from a comment made by the last SMASH Champion Fit Finlay at the promotion's last show, telling Tajiri to "keep wrestling classic" with regards to his new promotion. They had their first show last night (4/26).
Chikano will be competing on the promotion's third show, scheduled for May 27.

Tozawa introduced Larry Dallas as the new American manager for MAD BLANKEY. Dallas said something in English, none of which was understood by the Fukui fans. Tozawa ripped on them for not understanding English. He said with their new addition, MB would cause even more chaos.
CIMA completely KO'd Tanisaki with the Meteora. He told kong to take a good look, because he was next. He also called Dallas the worst, most garbage manager in the world.

CIMA & Cyber had the contract signing for the DoA main event. They both gave the typical speeches promising victory. CIMA added that today Cyber would suffer 100 chops at the hands of the 2012 KING OF CHOP winner. Tozawa chimed in. He said MB would be at ringside, including the always annoying Mondai Ryu & Kzy.

Open the Dream Gate: CIMA (25:16 Meteora) Cyber Kong *CIMA succeeds in his 3rd Defense
Swann was in his Stalker costume tonight.
Shingo was able to repeat the one hit comeback he pulled last year. The incredibly useless Mondai Ryu mis-fired with a low blow on Tozawa, leading to a Pumping Bomber and Last Falconry on Captain Tozawa.
Tonight was the first Dragonrana since the famous Blood Generation vs. Do FIXER ROH six man tag from ROH in 2006.
The special title ceremony presenter for the main is Mika Kano, one half of the Kano sisters celebrity duo. As far as I can gather she is famous for being famous and getting naked in photographs.
MB manager Larry Dallas received an Ina Bauer German from Stalker for his antics in the main event.
CIMA blasted Kong for his performance and for all the MB interference. He said it wasn't worthy of a Dream Gate title match, much less a big show main event. He told him to get out of his ring and go back to being just a second for important matches. After this, he & DK celebrated their wins, and gave the customary speech to close the show.
---
Akatsuki reign!!!
Man, DK had to pull out the big gun to pin Ricochet.
I can't wait to see Stalker give Larry the German. ;D

It's the start of King of Gate!!! ... Oh, and Doi's ass makes an appearance. --- 5/10/2012 Tokyo, Korakuen Hall- 1700 Attendance1. Kotoka, Eita Kobayashi{W} (3:48 Moonsault Press) Chihiro Tominaga, Super Shenlong III{L} 2. PAC{W}, Rich Swann (8:34 High Angle Shooting Star Press) Jimmy Kagetora, Shisa BOY{L} 3. K-ness, Kenichiro Arai, Super Shisa{W} (9:44 Yoshitonic) Ryo "Jimmy" Saito, Jimmy Kanda{L}, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! 4. King of Gate 2012 A Block First Round: Dragon Kid (13:26 World Liner Cutback) Jimmy Susumu 5. King of Gate 2012 A Block First Round: YAMATO (13:01 Sleeper Hold) Shingo Takagi 6. Open the Triangle Gate Next Contender Match: CIMA, Masaaki Mochizuki{W}, Don Fujii (13:07 Twister) Cyber Kong{L}, Naoki Tanisaki, Mondai Ryu 7. King of Gate 2012 A Block First Round: Akira Tozawa (15:30 Package German Suplex Hold) Naruki Doi 8. King of Gate 2012 A Block First Round: Masato Yoshino (18:40 Sol Naciente Kai) BxB Hulk W1i opened the show, and greeted the fans. They began to discuss the various Triangle Gate challenging teams, but were interrupted by The Veteran Army. They talked about their title wins in Aichi. MB interrupted them. Tozawa promised that Mondai Ryu would produce a salty victory in the #1 contender match later. Doi then delivered on his promised thong appearance. He pulled his track pants down to reveal dat ass. For whatever reason, this brought out -akatsuki-. The Jimmys followed shortly after for more banter, then the show properly began. Kobayashi declared Kotoka & his -akatsuki- opponents as his eternal rivals. He was on his way to Mexico for a learning excursion, but first he was going to chop Kzys' chest into oblivion in their KoG match tommorrow. MB attacked Takagi & YAMATO after their match. This set up a BLANKEY vs. -akatsuki- full confrontation match for the next Korakuen. It will be an elimination match, with special rules to be decided by MB. This was later decided to be a Yoshida Style match by Kong. He hopes to break out of his slump and depression by making a big splash in his namesake match. Yoshino celebrated his win. He was a little let down that there wouldn't be a DoiYoshi confrontation, but he was still pleased. He asked Tozawa if he thought he would be able to stop his speed. Then he called out the freshly anointed challengers to the Triangle Gate. The Vets came out, apparently fresh from the shower. Since they basically wear bathrobes all the time this may or may not have been the case. In any event, CIMA scolded Yoshino for interrupting shower time. CIMA said they would take their title match at the next Korakuen on 6/7. At precisely 9:00 PM. Out of nowhere, AraKen came out. He had K-ness, Shisa, & BOY with him. He said that since they beat the last champion team today, they should have a shot. CIMA laughed and said that they could be the antagonists for the Jimmys called Madogiwa no Windows. Which seems to mean Window to windows. Google comes up comedy book. CIMA had a quick counsel with Mocchy. They decided there would be a decision match at 7:30 PM, between their team and the Windows. The winner would get the title match at 9:00. AraKen said that while he has been busy doing freelance work, it was time to show his abilities back in the DG ring. The Vets & the Windows left, leaving W1i to close the show. They did so in grand fashion. Doi was once again in a frisky mood, so he decided to pull his ass out again. Yoshino begged for forgiveness, while Swann fainted & PAC averted his eyes. The A Block 2nd round pairings will be YAMATO vs. DK & Tozawa vs. Yoshino. --- In case any one wishes to faint like Swann: twitpic.com/9jdxav--- Turns out Tozawa did a helluva number on Doi as the latter suffered a fractured orbital bone. He's being taken off the immediate upcoming shows and it could put the June 7 Triangle Gate match in jeopardy depending upon how quickly he can heal up. Speaking of injuries, Gamma's recovery from his neck injury is taking longer than expected. As a result, we could be seeing the return of BIG BOSS MA-G-MA himself, Magnitude Kishiwada, on the May 19 Osaka show.
