[Major League Tradition]Seasonal Salutations everyone! Sadly Cornette,Schiavone & Georgia Smith were absent. Repeated opera cup documentary reinforced special occasion atmosphere!(especially including 1948 winner Stu Hart) The returning(though not fully)perkins began to remind anyone who forgot post-wwe why he's still "technical lightning".(also congrats becoming HOG crown jewel champ!) Ki was more-than-suitable replacement for sorely missed Ohtani. While hammerstone's title reign & friedman's AEW-BTE fast rising status earn the spotlight,dynasty co-leader holliday is fast rising star in his own right. Speaking of mr("I'M BETTER THAN YOU AND YOU KNOW IT!")mjf I hear he's on way out which would be severe mistake on brand's part since he was comedy standout! Lawlors' improving considerably btw promos,squad partnership & employing fake von erich copy.(had extra fun offering $ to make water boy cry) Sadly obvious that it'll take 3 bouts for squad-von erichs to tell respectable story. Reed did well for first defense,brazil handled merch werk after earning disney heat from "cool kid section" on his hair and oliver earned pwi most improved nomination.(CW tv title 14+ months!) "WEL-COME BACK ACH!!"(ex-mma star mo surprisingly didn't embarrass himself) Mr Medina got double large push between triple clique offer & barely stealing match win. After 3 sick stories expected warner/havoc to realize good match yet this ended up largest show failure.(perhaps idea could grow if done 1-2 times yearly by other brands?) Ex-shine nova champ/redhead priscilla kelly's with havoc.(maybe she can help build womens division with zeda zhang in 2020) Dragon gate icon cima was extra impressed by my special flyergift.(actually signed dg best of cover for free!) Realistically I join fanbase in thanking smith for resurrecting opera cup and agree he earned finalist spot. Idealistically pillman SHOULD'VE won for there reasons:a)never help major title b)was denied tag title c)this was his second tourney d)like smith also 2nd generation e)being far less established than smith would've added surprise underdog element to cup legacy f)having anyone other than same star who donated cup win it would've made ending far less predictable Congratulations to Court Bauer on brands best year ever!(maybe offer dvds next year??) Grade B
