A good place for everyone to introduce themselves.
I'll begin.
I'm Niall, from the (currently freezing cold) Highlands of Scotland.
Began watching DGUSA from its inception as well as following Infinity up until late 2010. I've got some catching up to do! Unfortunately, living abroad and following DGUSA is an expensive habit -- but when the funds present themselves, the product is 100% worth it.

Hello All!
Tom from Michigan.
One of the few fans who has been around and still active on the on-line forums.
Attended the first ever ROH show in Philly live and have been on an awesome rollercoaster ever since that time...done a lot in 10+ years!
I am really high on DG USA and EVOLVE and feel like Open The Golden Gate was one of their best shows ever, top to bottom. I have high hopes and big expectations for both groups in 2012!

Greetings citizens.
Brian from Bensalem, PA. 20 minutes from the ECW Arena.
My first ever independent show I saw was in 2007 when I saw IWA-Mid South run a show at the ECW Arena. Yeah. Some start. Caught a lot of the promotions that ran through that arena over the years.
Chikara: A fan instantly after my first show - Cibernetico and Robin First wrestling shirt I ever bought was a Sweet&Sour Camo-style shirt from Larry Sweeney. It was the 2nd or 3rd show I'd seen and he was just such a jerk to the crowd during his match that you had no choice but to boo him. Had amazing charisma and a perfect connection to his role towards the crowd. Wanted to buy a shirt out of respect and he treated me with class. That's what I'll always remember.
CZW: Love/Hate relationship with the product. Unapologetic Drake Younger mark.
ROH: Long story. Nearly all of it good. The bad isn't really that bad, more just personal beliefs about how things changed from my first time ever seeing a show back at Take No Prisoners 2008.
DGUSA: Nearly caught Davey Richards as he flew into the 2nd row in Chicago back in 2009. Good times.
I've fallen out of touch with a lot of independent promotions over the last few years, but I'm very slowly getting back in touch with everything.

Whattup! I'm Pip from Wichita, Kansas.
I've never had the luck of going to any DGUSA, EVOLVE, ROH, or any kinds of those 'top' indy fed shows, sadly. I hope to be able to one day though. One of the first (if not THE first, I can't recall) indy shows I went to was in 2006 in Oklahoma for Steel Rage Pro Wrestling. I even trained there for a split second, but things fell through and then that company closed They recently came back and I'm hoping to re-visit soon!
I first got into indy wrestling when a friend sent me tapes. From there, I got big into ROH and Toryumon, and bought a ton of ROH DVD's in 2005 and into early 2006. I fell off from keeping up with indy wrestling for a while but I've been keeping up a lot in the recent years.
I love Dragon Gate USA and have been a fan since they began and it's probably my favorite promotion on the indies right now. I've not been watching a lot of ROH, and I only saw I think four of the EVOLVE shows, but I was thoroughly entertained by them too. CZW is cool and I've liked them for a few years, but I have never actively kept up with what's going on. I watched mainly for "Sick" Nick Mondo and of course he retired a while back so I just catch clips or videos on youtube here and there usually.
All in all - love me some wrestling. Been a fan since the age of 10 when I was taken to a WWF House Show and knew NOTHING about wrestling at all. Hooked ever since. One day I hope to actually wrestle.. so there's that.
I also love me some music.. just about anything. I'm big into alternative at the moment, but Eminem is my all time favorite. When I'm not jamming to music, I'm running my eFed.. got myself an indy fed. I must be obsessed with indy wrestling! Lol
Hello!

Hey there everyone!
softondemand from New York. If you know where my name comes from, hello buddy!
Watched wrestling since I could remember. But only the American mainstream stuff, WWF/ECW/WCW. December 2009 I randomly decided to pick up Dragon Gate Best of DVD and that blew my mind. Researched Dragon Gate and found out about some "five star match" they had in some promotion called ROH. So I picked that up, and found out, hey I enjoyed the rest of the stuff on the show too. And thats when I started getting my hands on all ROH shows and watching them in order.
Watched all the shows in order and then I noticed some change, and it was really noticeable when I got to the 2009. Researched what happened about that and found out I was probably more a Gabe fan and didnt know it (I didn't follow the backstage stuff, just watched the dvds so i didn't know what happened)
Then I found out DGUSA already started and I followed that too. Today I only follow PWG and DGUSA, and probably EVOLVE too with that whole thing going on.

I'm Arthur from Oklahoma City. A buddy of mine I travel to shows with mentioned a show for something called Dragon Gate when we were in Phoenix for Wrestlemania two years ago. Watching that Mercury Rising show was like seeing wrestling for the first time. I was hooked man. I started watching some of the dvd's and starting last year in January I started making most of the shows between work and personal trips. Now I'm trying to make all of the DGUSA shows which is tough because I'm not homebased near anywhere they go. It's totally worth it. The shows are great and their workers are awesome to talk to and see perform.

I'm Darron from Los Angeles, CA....I've been a fan of DGUSA since it's inception and have been an indy fan since the late 90's and have followed the original ECW since 1995 when I was able to watch it on TV when I lived in Las Vegas.
When the original ECW died I started to follow CZW and stubled onto guys like Reckless Youth, Trent Acid, Jay and Mark Briscoe, The Spanish Announce Team and Red.....A year later when ROH debuted I was happy to see those guys in a promotion where I also got to see some guys that I was able to see here in SoCal like Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Spanky, Donovan Morgan and Mike Modest.
Through the years I enjoyed Ring Of Honor but every since SBG took over last year my interest has taken a huge decline in the face of lackluster booking and a massively thin roster most of which have quite a few guys who do absolutely nothing for me as a fan.
I'm a huge PWG fan and have attended many live shows as I feel that PWG and DGUSA are the best tickets in town as a fan of Indy Wrestling and guaranteed to give you more bang for your buck as a wrestling fan.
I'm not a TNA fan even though their success helps the business overall and i've haven't cared about WWE in years. I'm also a huge puroresu and MMA fan and love watching UFC.
Hope to have a lot of fun talking wrestling on this board.

I'm Annette, from Millersburg, PA.
I am an old school message boarder from back when ROH actually mattered.
I was The Kid From Camp Cabana or KFCC, depending on which message board was up and running.
I love DGUSA, PWG, Chikara, Dragon Gate, New Japan, All Japan, NOAH, some CZW or Big Japan, and the occasional UFC event.
Let us have some fun and keep it real.

This is Dan from the south side of San Diego, California.
I have generally been one of the early followers of Dragon Gate prior to DGUSA's formation and have since been passing along whatever news and notes jae posts on his site iHEARTdg. I am also the SoCal amigo for the DG mainstays since CIMA and I hooked up as friends through MySpace and beyond.
But perhaps I am also best known around the internet for what has become a legendary thread known simply as "Me and a Lotta Wrestlers." As the title implies, it is a hefty collection of pictures in which I'm with (at the time of this writing) nearly 200 wrestling personalities both past, present, and potential future. And yes, this thread will be coming here very soon.

Hey guys. I'm Greg form Tasmania, Australia.
I've been a wrestling fan for about 25 years. Living on an island, I have to jump on a plane to watch wrestling live as we don't have it here.
The first live events I saw were WWE Smackdown and Raw tours in Melbourne. I've also traveled to the States and went to an ROH TV taping in the ECW Building and Manhattan Mayhem III at the Hammerstein Ballroom and saw Austin Aries win the Championship for the second time. A little trip to Tokyo and I was happy to see a Dragon Gate taping at the Tokyo Dome where BxB Hulk almost landed on me after being thrown into the crowd.
I've been a fan of WWE since I was a small child and has stuck with them through the good and the bad and most likely always will. I have also watched ROH for MANY years and started watching Dragon Gate (Japan) after seeing THAT match in ROH. Which in-turn I now follow DGUSA as well.
I just like very entertaining matches regardless of where they come from, style of match or who's competing. I'm also quite a big MMA fan as well.
I hope this forum grows into something really fun.
It's good meeting you all!

I'm Mike, from Northeast Ohio. I contribute to a wrestling website and produce a video web series where I review wrestling shows. I basically have every DGUSA show from Enter the Dragon 2010 on, with about half from the first year, as well. Got hooked into DGUSA thanks to the Ronin storyline, and was really glad to see Johnny Gargano win the Freedom Gate title last year. As for EVOLVE, I have 1-6 & 9. Got the first six when they were on sale last summer, and wasn't really a fan, but did see EVOLVE 9 and liked it much more. As you can tell by the name, I'm a HUGE SHIMMER fan, and of good Women's Wrestling in general. I have pretty much every SHIMMER show except 7-10, which were long out of print before I had ever seen SHIMMER I used to be this big TNA fan. Then, Hulk Hogan showed up. Yeah... let's not go into that. Beyond that, I'm a huge music geek that actually likes the Lady Gaga/Katy Perry stuff, as well as the Silversun Pickups/Foster the People type indy bands that give me more street creds with my music snob friends. I even have this soft spot for J-pop, and I say this NOT being a Final Fantasy fan of any sort. I'm also a fan of web series such as the AVGN, Spoony Experiment, and the Nostalgia Critic. So much so, I started my own. Yay me.

Hi! I run Ricochet's official website ( futureofflight.webs.com ), Indy Wrestling Express ( indywrestling.tumblr.com ), and I write an indy column for www.cheap-heat.comI hail from Newcastle, England, which you may know as the hometown of PAC. My favourite wrestling promotion is Dragon Gate (and its USA extension, of course), and I'm really into ROH, PWG and NJPW as well. I follow WWE and TNA, but I'm not watching a whole lot of either at the moment.
