I honestly checked out on ROH after Best In The World when SBG came in because it seems like they just don't care about certain markets or their fanbase for that matter especially doing things like charging membership fees to access things on their site.
The roster is dreadfully thin and they are missing the boat on talented performers like TJP (A glorified jobber in ROH) to push awful wrestlers like Mike Bennett, Andy Ridge, The Bravados and Tomasso Ciampa down everyone's throats because they are cheaper to use.
They've done nothing with El Generico in the SBG era except job him to Jay Lethal because Lethal is a "TV" name....Generico is the best all around performer they have along with The Briscoes and Kevin Steen and they've done shit with him.
Their annual shows aren't booked with any importance or real quality......Those kind of shows should be booked with great matchups with the best possible talent they can get...The last two loaded shows ROH booked were from the Revolution shows last year.
Their production is still godawful....A promotion that has been around 10 years and is on TV should not have production values as bad as ROH.
It just seems like ROH is content with delivering an underwhelming product and stand by it with a "take it or leave it" mentality which is exactly why alot of people aren't into it as much these days.

See, I'm on the other end of the spectrum.
I happen to like Bennett and Ciampa. I don't feel forced to, and they seem like top level talent to me.
I don't think they've misused Generico. He's been competitive in championship bouts, was involved in the three way TV title match at Final Battle, and is involved in the Steen angle there too with his neck injury. Misused to me would be having him job out to a Mike Mondo on the TV show and not even appearing on iPPV.
I happen to like their production values. It doesn't seem as slick as the Corporate Sports Entertainment companies, but it shouldn't. Those shows always seem way to slick and over-produced to me that ROH catches my eye better.
Plus, it was the pushing of Final Battle on TV that got me to order it, my first iPPV order.
So all the things you seem not to like, I do like.
I haven't seen a DGUSA or Evolve iPPV yet to compare, but I am very much into the current ROH product.

To me ROH hurt its self when they took down the message board, and when you have to pay to look at certian things in the website.

I don't think the paying thing is that big a deal to me. Just because you can still watch the TV show for free, you just have to wait a few days longer. But there does seem to be some perks to paying a membership fee. I personally don't pay.

Because people can get burnt out? It's one of the reasons I stopped watching ROH. Every match felt the same and the main events were painfully boring to watch. I don't need to see Alarm Clock 20 times in a match or 5409843 near falls which is always followed up by fighting spirit bullshit where they trade elbows for 20 minutes. It's boring. ok what would you wanna watch? the stuff they put on monday nights or Thursday nights is a joke. Ring of honor was built off that style, a lot of people dig that style. I enjoy watching it, it's modern day pro wrestling. I like variety.

It isn't you... ever since I was extremely disappointed in the Wrestlemania weekend PPVs last year I just haven't been as into ROH. They lost a lot of the roster that I cared about, and the ones I do care about can only feud with so many people. This is a rebuilding time and I'm sure things will pick up. I've been to the last 4 or 5 Final Battle's and this latest one was also a big disappointment to me. Even bigger dissapointment than the cluster that was Aries vs. Tyler 60 min draw? I was there live for Aries vs. Tyler and my buddy and I both loved the match and didn't understand why the crowd was turning on them. That was a great Final Battle as I've enjoyed all of them but 2011 was by far the worst.

If you ask me, Ring of Honor is the worst promotion out there today. All it does is promote boring characters who are only a shell of their former stars. The only exceptions are Kevin Steen, El Generico, The Briscoes, and the All Night Express.
