Kanda was still in his foul mood from Korakuen. He stormed off instead of celebrating his win. Strangely, so did Kotoka.
Kanda returned after the whip match, attacking Gamma on the ramp.
Tanizaki had Tanisaki pinned with the Implant, but the referee was pulled out at two. Tozawa hit him with a chair, and he never recovered. The finish was a more vertical drop version of the Night Ride,
Tanisaki said that the win proved once and for all who the true Naoki was. He taunted Tanizaki, who was naturally upset & crying. Tanizaki accepted the loss, and was fine with continuing on as Jimmy Tanizaki. However, the win gave Tanisaki the right to pick his new ring name. He wasn't going to let him off that easy. Tanizaki and his crying reminds him of a dolphin. Then, he thought of the sound a dolphin makes when it cries. It sounds like kyu kyu. Tanizaki is from Toyonaka. So therefore, the name he chose for him is....Mister Kyu Kyu Toyonaka Dolphin. Really.
Doi hit the Muscular Bomb in the late stages, but the accumulated damage from the match prevented him from covering. CIMA was able to recover and eventually win, once again preventing a generation shift.
Afterwards, CIMA thanked Doi for the good fight and went to shake his hand. MAD BLANKEY interrupted. Tanisaki went to give CIMA the Night Ride but it got blocked by Mochizuki. Tanisaki asked for a title match, but CIMA flatly refused it. No titles shots without first winning a CIMA Royale. Tanisaki insisted CIMA was ducking the man that has beaten CIMA, Fujii, Mochizuki, & Yoshino in the last few weeks. He wasn't going to let him out of fighting him. CIMA accepted a singles match for the next Korakuen. Tanisaki added his own rules to it, since the title would not be on the line. So, set for 10/12 in Korakuen is CIMA vs. Tanisaki in a Lumberjack match.
Gamma called out Kanda. He was taking him up on his request for a Jimmys vs. Veteran Army war in Korakuen. It will be Mochizuki, Fujii, & Gamma vs. Kanda, Saito, & Susumu.
CIMA closed out the show with his standard long speech. He praised all the competitors on the show, asked the Tokyo fans if they were pleased with the Dragon Gate return to Ota, and thanked all who attended.

CIMA was also taken off the show. He suffered a cut to his back while on vacation in Thailand this week that required a hospital trip. It took a turn for the worse so they kept him off.
Naruki Doi was already being kept off while his stitches heal.
At the last minute, Don Fujii also had to cancel off, forcing an emergency call to HUB.
Sambo Hall is still scheduled for tonight, but Typhoon Jelawat is going to hit the area at some point, which could affect either the show itself or the attendance.

This show is living up to the tour name. As mentioned yesterday, Typhoon #17 is/was battering the area as the event began.
Saito & Kong declared their entry in the CIMA Royale after match 0.
Gamma, HUB, & Kishiwada have asked for a shot at the Triangle Gate. They have named their trio "Shin Imamiya Festival Trio". Shin Imamiya is a neighborhood in Osaka.
Tanisaki entered into the CR after the opener.
Takagi & Mondai Ryu both entered the CR after their match.
Yoshino announced that Doi was absent again, this time he was a last minute scratch. BOY took his spot. Yoshino also announced his own entry into the CR. Doi showed up anyway, demanding his spot back. BOY refused. In the end, Tominaga joined up with akatsuki to make it into a trios match.
Kanda & Susumu asked for a Twin Gate title match. They will receive it at GATE OF DESTINY.
Dolphin entered the CR.
Before the CR start, DK discussed the next Brave Gate challenger. He had a brave person in mind. This called out Eita Kobayashi, returning from his stay in Mexico. He quickly asked who this Kobayashi person was. He was simply Eita, the Mexican luchadore. He was just in the country to renew his passport, then he would be returning to Mexico, where he made many wonderful friends. However, the idea of bringing them back an equally wonderful souvenir appealed to him. The Brave Gate would fit the bill, so he was accepting the title match. It will take place at GATE OF DESTINY.
Naturally, Yoshino will receive his Dream Gate title match at GATE OF DESTINY. He defeated CIMA at the same event in 2010, during his Dream Gate reign.
Yoshino closed things out by suggesting that the whole roster do a meet & handshake event to see off those in attendance as a thank you for them coming out in such harsh conditions.

CIMA introduced new Veteran Army members HUB & Fox to the Hakata locals. The Jimmys came out shortly after, & Kagetora argued with HUB again.
Kanda attacked Gamma & HUB after the opener, prompting a save from MochiFuji, which prompted further saving by Susumu. Angry Kanda was on full display here, as he yelled and screamed at the Veterans. He promised to destroy all of them. Mainly Gamma & Fujii though. Kanda & Fujii have been feuding off & on for over 10 years now. Both teams continued brawling to the backstage area after match 3.
A no time limit rematch between Hulk+Akira & TakaYAMA is likely for the November swing through Kyushu. 11/23 in Saga would be the best bet, if it does happen.

Tanisaki called out CIMA after the opener. He came out wielding a whip. Tanisaki demanded that the main event be made into a No Rope Lumberjack match. CIMA quickly accepted.
Stalker came out and challenged Arai to an Owarai Gate title match at GATE OF DESTINY. Arai accepted & gave him a Giant Swing.
The MAD BLANKEY/-akatsuki- antagonism from Hakata continued today. They set up a series of singles matches for next month in Korakuen. Tozawa vs. Takagi, Hulk vs. YAMATO, Kzy vs. Shenlong.
QQ came out after the main to attack Tanisaki, but he also attacked CIMA! Mochizuki chastised him, saying CIMA had absolutely nothing to do with anything related to his problems and told him he should focus on his real target. Kanda raged at him, saying the era of the docile Jimmys was over. CIMA responded by attacking Kanda, which lead to mass confusion. CIMA lamented having to deal with Kanda, after just beating down Tanisaki for his post match attack in Ota. Horiguchi informed him the Jimmys didn't want to talk, they wanted to fight. Both sides agreed to a 6 vs. 6 elimination match next month. HUB will coming in for Team Veteran, so Kage promised he would become a mongoose and hunt the snake man down.
CIMA closed the show with his usual speech. He vowed to beat Yoshino. He can hear the footsteps of the new generation catching up to him, but he will jump ahead of every one them. Because he is CIMA.

No CIMA today because he was on the KAIENTAI DOJO show in Korakuen Hall to help celebrate TAKA Michinokus' 20th anniversary in wrestling. He teamed with TAKA & FUNAKI in a losing effort against Minoru Suzuki, NOSAWA Rongai, & Taichi. Suzuki pinned TAKA with his Gotch Style Piledriver. TAKA thanked CIMA for missing a DG show to help him out, even after their bitter rivalry over passports and such several years ago.

CIMA praised Yoshino for another wonderful fight. He talked about how when Dragon Gate started, Doi was Second Doi & Yoshino was YOSSINO. Since then, they have seen many of their peers leave. He wondered if they ever wanted to do the same. He said they have become essential, and without them, there would be no DG. He was eagerly awaiting their next fight. Both Doi & Yoshino assured him that day would come.
He closed out the show by saying with the Dream Gate title, he was still the peak. He would remain so until his head was cut off. He called out anyone to be the next challenger. He would face them and defeat them, because he is CIMA.
