I know some people are disappointed that Richards is not defending his title. What do you guys think of the main event?

It's going to be a great match.

I'm looking forward to it. So far, they've built up the Kyle/Eddie program effectively on the ROH show. I'm interested in seeing the tag match.
I would prefer the World title on the line, but it sounds like we'll get two World title matches on the Showdown shows at the end of March, so I'm okay with this.

It will be a great match, but I was hoping for a World Title match, but Davey will be defending the World Title on both Showdown in the Sun shows.

I think it's a joke! The ROH World Title has always been defended in some way shape or form on it's anniversary show and to not do it so they can trot out a tag match that serves no purpose other than doing Davey/Eddie in some form for the NYC crowd who balked at their last encounter is ridiculous.
It's almost as bad as Aries retaining over Tyler in the 60 min draw at Final Battle 2009 in a snowstorm and then coming back with it the next time.
To me it's like Vince McMahon calling for a tag match between HHH and Big Show vs. The Rock and Mick Foley at WM 16 instead of a 4 Way for the title.

The WM shows have always (since ROH started running them) been bigger than the Anniversary shows.

Not totally surprised they're not doing a title match but this match should be pretty badass, in my humble opinion.

I just love how ROH keeps letting Kevin Steen be right when it comes to Davey Richards, and why I'm a bit shocked that the full-on, Tyler Black-level backlash on Davey hasn't set in, yet. Because, see, one of the things people are really pissed about when it comes to Davey's reign is - Who else has he defended the title against besides Eddie Edwards? Roderick Strong, maybe once? And at least as far as I know, Jay Lethal. 3 guys in 8 months? That can't be right... right?

My friends and I were talking about Davey (and really ROH in general) on the way to Final Battle 2011.... who can he really defend it against with their current roster? Sadly, the current state of ROH is sad and they need to build up some of the guys they have already and bring back some talent (Steen coming back was a step in the right direction).

you figure, with Ciampa being undefeated (or, at least he was last time I really watched) and Michael Elgin being pushed fairly well, you'd think Davey would have title matches with them? It's not like they'd win. And even if you were worried about ending Ciampa's win-streak, there's still at least Elgin. There isn't a TV taping you can book Davey vs. Elgin for the title or something? Or what about Mike Bennett? It's not like he has to win. Davey can crush him, but you'd think the guys getting the big pushes the way these three have been would at least get a shot. It's not like this is WWE and only 2 people are considered title worthy, after all. I mean, seriously, Ricky Romero used to get title shots. Don't remember him being an uppercard guy. Steen and Generico got them when they were still a tag team. So did the briscoes. Davey can't fight Jay Briscoe?

They would've been better off if they did it like that....Davey vs. Jay Briscoe (who was on the first ROH show) would've been a great title match for the 10YA with a sense of history behind it that would've been more eefctive then doing Team Davey vs. Team Ambition. Or they could've put Elgin out there on his own instead of chucking him into the 3 way in Miami with Steen where he's not even gonna be the focus of the match and will take a backseat to Davey/Steen. They had other options they could've went with and this tag match just feels like lazy booking to me.

I think it's a good move. This may have the bigger name, but the WrestleMania weekend shows are being promoted as bigger show. It's going to really elevate Cole and O'Reilly, and the match itself will be great. I just love how ROH keeps letting Kevin Steen be right when it comes to Davey Richards, and why I'm a bit shocked that the full-on, Tyler Black-level backlash on Davey hasn't set in, yet. And at least as far as I know, Jay Lethal. 3 guys in 8 months? That can't be right... right? He defended against Generico a while back too. How many shows has Davey actually missed since winning the title? I only recall the Northern Aggresion/Southern Defiance weekend, and Death Before Dishonor.
