WHAT THE F*CK IS ON THEM!?!?!?!
Seriously, what am I buying here? I figure it's highlights of the year, but is it all clipped matches and how is it set out?
Anyone purchased these? What's inside?

The matches that air on Infinity will more than likely be clipped. It is TV after all.

They're full seasons of Dragon Gate Infinity, the weekly show that airs in Japan. It's pretty much the best wrestling TV show in the world.
And yes, the matches are usually clipped. Big matches usually get cut down to between 12 and 20 minutes, while shorter matches usually have a minute or two shaved off them as well.

TV show or not, wouldn't you want it uncut on DVD?

I'm fairly certain these aren't full seasons of Infinity. They're heavily clipped matches, most of which aired on Infinity, some of which might not have aired at all, that tell the story of the first portion of the year storyline by storyline. They're cool, but for completists only.

It just says "Full seasons of Dragon Gate Infinity TV straight from Japan!" in the description, which is pretty misleading if it isn't the case. 2008 and 9 are split into six separate DVDs each, which I took as another indication that the episodes were included in their entirety.

You have to remember our interpretation of what a TV season is is different for what the interpretation of a season for Infinity is.

Yeah these are definitely not full episodes of infinity guys. essentially all they do is recap the story lines from Japan and show matches that are clipped so much that they are pretty much just the high spots of the matches. I've got all of the 2008 dvds and I don't think any of the matches on there have lasted more than 5 minutes. I still really enjoy them don't get me wrong, but if you went into this purchase thinking you were getting 8 full episode of infinity or something you'd probably be disappointed.

That is essentially how Infinity episodes are aired. The format, though, will be changing next month (April), so that will be the true test of how the shows will be presented on DVD. All Korakuen Hall shows from that point onward will air live, so those would be the only episodes that will feature matches in full.

That is essentially how Infinity episodes are aired. Well, the matches aren't all chopped down to five minutes. The Blood/JIII finale was clipped down to half an hour (from seventy minutes). Usually big singles matches are cut to about 15, and big tag matches around 15-20.
