I will be seeing this opening weekend for sure... can't wait. Anyone else going though, don't fall for the 3D hype and just go see it 2D.

I usually don't bother with 3d myself, with the most recent exception being underworld in january. Can't believe 3d is still going strong. And yes, can't wait for the avengers.

Avengers is every comic geeks dream come true. I'll be going opening night...if I can actually get a seat. I remember going to opening night of Iron Man when it came out, and it literally was standing room only. I'm guessing this is gonna be even bigger.

No movie ever sells out in my small town, which is nice. I still think it is funny that Avengers happened before Justice League when WB is owned by the same company as DC Comics so there are less legal issues.

I still think it is funny that Avengers happened before Justice League when WB is owned by the same company as DC Comics so there are less legal issues. While there are certainly less legal issues, it generally came down to lack of creative confidence. WB has been trying like hell for decades to develop a Wonder Woman film and they still haven't gotten to the proper pre-production stages. Even Joss Whedon, who is now directing The Advengers, could make Wonder Woman happen.

I know about all that and I still meant what I said.. that's why I think it's funny, they should be able to get that shit done but they are too dumb... help, screw wonder woman, they advertised for a Batman/Superman movie in I Am Legend and THAT fell through too.. that should be the easiest shit in the world to make. People know both characters, both had their newer movies with some origin aspects, they just needed to make a movie where they worked together and fought bad guys. They overthink shit way too much.

I'll probably see it, but not opening night. I've seen Incredible Hulk and Thor, and a bit of Captain America. None of the Iron Man films. Have to watch all those before I can see Avengers

Looks cool. My comic book knowledge isn't very expansive, so I had to look up who the Avengers are (aside from the obvious ones). They should have got Low Ki to play Loki.
