Hello everyone !
just a little subject to count all the international fans in this forum that watch (via DVD-WWNL) DGUSA & Evolve ?
I know that today Internet make easier fans from all the world to follow indy wrestling (and with WWNL it's much easier), but i think that it's still a little more difficult to us who don't live in the USA to follow Wrestling since we can't go to the show, buying DVD, shirt... is a little more difficult (post office, currency...).
Despite all that a lot of international fans continue to support DGUSA & Evolve, so who and where are you and what make you fans of a far wrestling promotion ?

I'm a huge independent wrestling fan from Newfoundland, Canada. However, last year I moved to the Canadian Arctic town of Inuvik, Northwest Territories because my girlfriend is working as a nurse here.
I am relatively new to DGUSA & EVOLVE but they are quickly ranking among my favorite promotions out there. I also thoroughly enjoy Chikara and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
I can't wait to order a DGUSA/Evolve iPPV, but I may have to wait 'til I find one that corresponds to my work schedule and the time zone differential...
Cheers!

I'm from Tasmania, Australia. I dont get wrestling where at all I am, but the internet makes things loads easier. I really hunt for good, fun matches and they are few and far between with the major company (/plural). I got into Dragon Gate Japan first as they were having, IMO, the best cards around. DGUSA came later as I wanted to see my favourite Dragon Gate wrestlers in action against wrestlers who I love on the US indies.

From Australia.
I think a lot of empthasis in indy wrestling is about going to the shows, being with the other fans, seeing the wrestlers live and getting absorbed in that world just waiting for the next time they come near you.
International fans are watching from afar, the shows are never going to be anywhere near them.
Living in Australia, we get WWE come around once a year, but that's about it, the local stuff isn't match and we get a couple of indy names now and again.
Watching wrestling most of my life, it has always been far away, so I'm used to it. Always felt like any other TV show you can watch and not see live.
Like you said, IPPV's have made it a LOT easier to follow smaller companies, a great step forward and a big plus for international fans. The Internet now days let's us be as up to date with pretty much any company in the world and follow it online and through message boards, so it isn't any different in that aspect.
