Interesting idea. Hate to nitpick though... - Shisa and Kotoka are in the same unit now. - I'm assuming you're going with Windows claiming Twin Gate tomorrow. - There's no set timetable for Kobayashi's return from Mexico, though I suspect it'll be beyond World. - Most are quite certain that, unless something happens, Tozawa will be the one challenging for Dream Gate at World. - I figured it could be a friendly dark match - Yep. And they didn't... - True. - CIMA vs Tozawa does look like the obvious one, so I thought I'd go for something a bit different, and decided to continue the tradition of the World non title grudge match that doesn't look like it will happen this year. I think beating Mochi on this stage (two huge World wins in a row) would be more beneficial for Tozawa than losing to CIMA, and YAMATO as the dream challenger would possibly be a bigger draw. Don't get me wrong though, I'm gunning for Tozawa to win the next CIMA Royale and make it to the World main event, he's my favourite so I'd love to see it happen.

I'm surprised K-ness and Kanda weren't the other way around on that card, seems a bit random.

Ricochet affirmed his Brave Gate challenge to DK after the opener. They set the time and place for the match. Kobe World Hall on 7/22.
Mondai Ryu attempted to throw salt at everyone after match 3. Horiguchi ended up making the save. After a long argument that mostly involved insults, a CIMA & Horiguchi vs. Mondai Ryu & X tag match was set for the near future.
Mochizuki, Fujii, & Gamma demanded the Jimmys drop their Triangle Gate shot. Naturally, the Jimmys refused. Mocchy warned them that something was going to go down in Kyoto next weekend.
Tozawa won the match without MB help, silencing a recent criticism that had been coming his way. YAMATO actually gave him some small praise for this, and reminded him of the challenge that waited for him Kobe World Hall. Tozawa responded with a Bicycle Kick. He promised to take the Dream Gate.
The Jimmys came out afterwards. Susumu nominated Takagi & YAMATO to be the next Twin Gate challengers. Takagi initially refused to give answer, saying he wanted to make sure all 4 members of -akatsuki- were progressing. Susumu pressed him further, and he caved in. This match will also take place at Kobe World.
Yoshino, perhaps feeling inspired, got ahead of himself and began to talk about the Triangle Gate match for World. Saito reminded him that there was still a title match before that. A match that the Jimmys were going to win. Mochizuki then reminded Saito about their conversation from earlier. Yoshino said he would accept the challenge from Mocchy & Co as soon as they could.
CIMA closed out the show, talking about the generation gap between himself & Tozawa, and promising to have a fierce fight at Kobe World.

Tozawa in the World main event is amazing. Will the CIMA Royale make TV? I haven't checked the Infinity schedule in a while.

6/30/2012 Kyoto, KBS Hall 0. Ryo "Jimmy" Saito, Jimmy Kagetora{W} (6:27 Modified Michinoku Driver) Chihiro Tominaga{L}, Super Shenlong III 1. Jimmy Susumu, Jimmy Kanda{W} (10:39 Gekokujoh Elbow) Dragon Kid, Kotoka{L} 2. Ricochet (9:54 Phoenix Splash) Super Shisa 3. YAMATO, Shingo Takagi{W} (13:15 MADE IN JAPAN) BxB Hulk, Cyber Kong{L} 4. CIMA{W}, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! (12:42 Meteora → One Foot Pinfall) Akira Tozawa, Mondai Ryu{L} 5. Open the Triangle Gate & gobaaan 10th Anniversary Special Match #1: Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino{W}, PAC (19:19 Modified Crucifix Hold) Masaaki Mochizuki{L}, Don Fujii, Gamma *3rd Defense for WORLD-1 International
The Veteran Army main event team came out for the opening MC. Mochizuki had promised he had something planned for today, and he got to it quickly. He called out W1i to come out. Yoshino said they were still unpacking their suitcases, why did Mochizuki want them out here so early. Mocchy challenged them to make the main event a title match. Yoshino blew it off, saying the match was already the gobaaaan anniversary celebration. They have t-shirts for it and everything. Further, there was already a title match scheduled for tomorrow. It would be irresponsible to jeopardize that. Mocchy had a solution for that. His team was booked in the opener tomorrow. If they win the titles today, they can just swap places. Yoshino finally polled the crowd to see if they wanted to see a title match. Naturally, Kyoto decided that they did. The main event would be for the Triangle Gate.
CIMA ran down Tozawa after the semi-final. He hoped he didn't have another Cyber Kong level match on his hands. CIMA reminded him of the tough challenge ahead and such until Tozawa finally heard enough and gave him a Bicycle Kick. He yelled and kept Bicycle Kicking him until the real Naoki Tanizaki made a shocking return to help run off MB!
Tanizaki greeted the fans, and told them he was finally done with the rehab on his shoulder injury. The DG situation has changed considerably since he left. Blood Warriors were gone, JUNCTION THREE were gone. He wasn't quite sure what to do, but this seemed like a good time to come out. He turned to Horiguchi and extended his hand for a handshake. Horiguchi took one look at him, and asked who he was. Everyone left him in the ring. The rookies on ring boy duty also treated him like a fake and ignored him.
Mocchy and Doi continued arguing after the main. The Jimmys came out. Saito said Mochizuki disrespected the Jimmys by circumventing their #1 contender status by demanding a hurried title match. Mocchy reminded Saito he did the same thing for the Dream Gate back in November. Saito blew that off and promised the Jimmys would be the champion team by Kobe World.
WORLD-1 closed the show with the usual speech.
---
So far so good with how they're doing Tanizaki's return.

7/1/2012 Osaka, BODYMAKER COLLOSEUM - 1500 Attendance 0. Kotoka (5:27 Harmony) Kzy 1. BxB Hulk, Naoki Tanisaki, Cyber Kong{W} (15:26 Twister Cutback → School Boy) Masaaki Mochizuki{L}, Don Fujii, Gamma 2. Akira Tozawa{W}, Mondai Ryu (8:35 Package German Suplex Hold) Super Shisa, Shisa BOY 3. Twin Gate Singles Match: YAMATO (8;34 Gallara) Jimmy Kagetora 4. Twin Gate Singles Match: Shingo Takagi (12:21 MADE IN JAPAN) Jimmy Susumu 5. CIMA{W}, Dragon Kid (16:05 Meteora) Ricochet, Rich Swann{L} 6. Open the Triangle Gate: Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, PAC{W} (18:05 360 Shooting Star Press) Ryo "Jimmy" Saito, Jimmy Kanda, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!{L} *4th Defense for WORLD-1 International
After match two, Tozawa & Mondai Ryu ran down the city of Osaka. Tozawa talked about his upcoming match with CIMA. Kzy turned to Yagi and demanded a match for World. Fans booed. He said he would team with Mondai Ryu and would face any challenge. Fans booed. Stalkers' music began playing but quickly changed to a Wild Thing arrangement version. Stalker came out, and was speaking in a manner similar to Atsushi Onita. Indeed, he would be teaming with Mr. Onita to face Mondai Ryu & Kzy at World! He finished by throwing water all over the place.
-akatsuki- celebrated their complete sweep of the Twin Gate skirmishes. Takagi went as far as to say himself or YAMATO could be replaced by Tommy or Shenlong and they would still be too strong for the Jimmys. Both sides promised to win in Kobe.
After the semi-final, CIMA spoke. First he asked Ricochet & DK to have a clean fight in their upcoming match. Then he brought up Magnitude Kishiwada. Last time around in Osaka, CIMA promised himself, Gamma, & Kishiwada would team up. Kishiwadas' schedule made it impossible today. However, he is free on the 11th when they do their even for Kansai TV in Osaka. So, the all Osaka native trio will rage there.
The MB team from the opener came out after the main. Naturally, they challenged for the Triangle Gate. Mocchy blocked it, saying they had already been promised the next title shot back in Kyoto. Yoshino told him that he used that up yesterday and couldn't just get another title match. He accepted the MB challenge. After some more prodding by Mocchy, Yoshino continued his take on all comers stance and agreed to a 3 way for World. Yoshino then passed off closing speech duties on the Jimmys.
Horiguchi began to do so, but Naoki Tanizaki invaded again. He gave essentially the same speech as yesterday, but then produced a pair of eye glasses. He asked to join the Jimmys! He asked Horiguchi if he was just pretending to not know him yesterday. Horiguchi again asked him who he was. As did Kanda. As did Susumu. However, Kagetora remembered him. He asked him to go drinking with him. The others finally let on that they were just messing with Tanizaki. They remembered him. Thus, Naoki Tanizaki has joined the Jimmys. He didn't get a Jimmy name just yet, though.
---
And there goes the fun of everyone thinking Tanizaki is the imposter. Darn.
Any way, here's the full card for World:

All the participants for the main event came out for the opening MC. Not much of note, aside from everyone mocking Horiguchi & Tominaga for their unfortunate hair loss situation.
Tanisaki said there was an impostor in the Jimmys, and he had some words of warning for him.
Strangely, PAC bowed to all four sides of the arena after his match...
After taking Mondai Ryus' mask, CIMA also decided to take his hair. Perceiving this as a betrayal of the agreed terms, Mondai Ryu said he would do the same and continue to wear his mask.
Tozawa blamed the loss entirely on being saddled with Mondai Ryu. At Kobe World it will be 1 on 1, with no MB involvement. Without the baggage, he will win. CIMA questioned his words about his supposed friends. He said Tozawa wouldn't beat him. Next month in Korakuen he will still have the Dream Gate title. Because he is CIMA.
Mochizuki threw the Veteran Army win back at W1i, saying that the combined experience of 125 years beat them today, and promised to repeat the result at World. Yoshino basically blew him off, saying only that it certainly wasn't going to happen. He then turned his attention to the Summer Adventure Tag League. He proclaimed that DoiYoshi would be returning to win it for a fourth time. Mochizuku called him selfish for blowing off the loss today. He also pitched the idea of making the tag league into a trios league. The other units agreed with the idea. Mochizuki left the decision up to Yoshino, since Speed Muscle created the league in the first place. Yoshino agreed, and once again returned to the DoiYoshi talk. They wanted the Twin Gate. They challenged the winners at World to face them next month in Korakuen Hall. Both TakaYAMA & the Jimmys accepted. All sides left the Veteran Army to close the show. They did the customary closing speech, and announced the East Osaka trio of CIMA, Gamma, & Kishiwada would be the first team in the trios league.
The Summer Adventure Trios Tag League (not an official name) will kick off on 8/2 in Korakuen Hall and run through 8/19 in Hakata Star Lanes.
---
PAC's bowing to all four sides today has garnered quite a bit of attention. Some are speculating that this is because he is leaving Dragon Gate after World, presumably to WWE.
More on this as it develops.
